CRK
The multi-domain signaling adaptor protein CRK (CT10 regulator of tyrosine kinase) mediates many protein-protein interactions in the focal adhesion complex of the cell. CRK consists of a SH2 domain and two SH3 domains (nSH3 and cSH3).The dynamics of the interdomain interactions play a key role in regulating the activity of each domain in CRK. However, the molecular mechanism by which CRK mediates diverse protein-protein interactions is not well understood.
The major focus of this project is the delineation of the molecular basis of the structural dynamics regulating higher order interdomain interactions of CRK.
